I am not sure how many of you are sports fans. I grew up an Anaheim Angels fan (yes, I said Anaheim. I was so mad when they announced the change to Los Angels Angels of Anaheim, how stupid) and Dodgers fan. My husband is from Connecticut and is a die hard Yankees fan. Since we have gotten married I have been converted to Yankee nation but still hold a special place in my heart for the Angels.
Anyway, last night was the All-Star game. We sat down and started watching the game at 5pm and it didn't end until almost 11pm. Oh what a game. I swear it was a workout for my emotions. The stress level was sky high. The American League should have had the game won long before the 15th inning. Yep, it went 15 innings. I told my husband, if the game went to 16 innings I was going to bed. I was so stressed out that I couldn't handle it anymore. I swear I wanted to cry so many times. If the American League allowed it to go to 16 innings I WAS going to cry especially if the AL messed up another chance to win after getting so many players on 3rd base. It was great though, the AL pulled it out and now we have home field advantage in the World Series. Now if we can get the Yankees to start winning enough games to get them into the play offs all would be great. If that isn't the case then I guess we will have to route for the Angels throughout the play-offs and World Series, oh darn hehehe
